What research says about sound and our perception of teeth brushing
Whether manual or electric, brushing our teeth and gums is an important part of our oral hygiene routine. Researchers in Japan have been looking into the impact of how the sound of tooth brushing effects our perception of effort and accomplishment.
What the researchers discovered was that if the sound of the brushing increased, the sense of satisfaction and reward was greater.
