Dental Implants to restore a smile at Xmas
Anyone who loves a great Xmas song is well aware of ‘Fairytale of New York’ by Kirsty MacColl and The Pogues. Those of us of a certain age remember the front man for The Pogues, Shane MacGowan for his teeth as much as his singing style and use of a metal tea tray as a percussive instrument.
Over the years, Shane’s peg like teeth have been lost. A few years ago, I saw ThePogues perform in Brixton at the annual Xmas show and noticed just gums. Whilst I never thought he would age gracefully, no teeth had a very noticeable impact on his singing performance.
In today’s Guardian there is an article about a Xmas documentary telling the tale of how Shane got his smile back. The full article is here;
One of the wonderful idiosyncrasies that Shane got with his new smile is a single gold crown. Ever the rock star, he will never be one to conform. At Keppel Advanced Dentistry in Sutton, Surrey, we have over 20 years experience restoring smiles like Shane’s. We can even get you a gold front tooth if you really want it.
